Let's Create a Circle of Friends
Friends, you and me… you brought another friend… and then there were
three… we started our group… our circle of friends… and like that
circle… there is no beginning or end. --Eleanor Roosevelt
Roosevelt University was named after Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt in recognition of their democratic ideals and achievements. Eleanor worked vigorously to support the University's early success. In November 1945, she evoked the American dream when she formally dedicated Roosevelt College. She noted that its purpose was to “provide educational opportunities for persons of both sexes and of various races on equal terms and to maintain a teaching faculty which is both free and responsible for the discovery and dissemination of the truth.” The purpose of this blog is to honor the memory of Eleanor Roosevelt by creating a “circle of friends” where we may discuss and share ideas about organizational and individual learning & development.
