We are currently representing a global company that has enjoyed significant growth over the past 5 years. The company has grown through acquisition and has increased their revenue to over $4 billion. Their gross revenues increased 23% over 2007 and they are well poised to continue their strong growth record. Due to their significant acquisition activity, the company is embarking on a major transformation to create unity and cohesiveness throughout the organization. As a result, they are looking to recruit a Director of Learning to join the organization and serve as a business partner in the global transformation. In addition, they are looking to bring in a senior-level HR Generalist to support the transformation.
The Director of Learning will be responsible for the design, implementation, and evolution of the learning and training initiatives, and the employee/management communicat ion required to support the global business transformation taking place. This individual will need to develop, understand and deliver leading edge programs to meet the needs of the organization. Successful candidates this individual must be dynamic, visionary, creative, well-informed and well-organized. This individual will be skilled in managing and networking with complex organizational contexts and responsive to emerging, multi-faceted challenges. The ideal candidate will have a clear sense of the strategic role of learning in facilitating change processes and in developing the breadth of vision necessary to innovate and build strategic leadership competence.
For the Director of HR position, we are looking for an individual to serve as a strategic HR business partner to the executive team members and lead the HR activities for the Americas region including; employee relations, compensation, recruiting, and overall organizational development support. This individual will serve as the head HR executive and work closely with the Global Vice President of People Management to restructure the HR organization and the core processes to ensure global alignment of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives. The company is moving to a "Centers of Excellence" approach and the Director of HR will spearhead the development of this new organization. The successful candidate must be solutions-oriented with strong influencing skills and solid judgment. This individual must have a demonstrated track record of working in a global, fast paced environment with the ability to operate within a matrix environment.
Both of these positions will have a base salary in the $125,000 - $150,000 range and be located in the Los Angeles/Long Beach area.
