8 Week Course Update

We just finished our first 8 week section of TRDV 400 Intro to Training and it was very successful.  The students worked collaboratively in learning circles, used metacognative strategies in reflective journals, learned experientially by attending the CISPI Crackerbarrel, and gained authentic practice by designing and delivering learning activities.

Registration for Spring Term

Spring 2009 Highlights

Registration for our Spring 2009 term begins November 1^st and will continue until classes begin.  You may view our schedule at www.roosevelt.edu and then select the "schedule" link at the top of the page.
 

Be sure to check out our new 8 week courses both at Robin and in Chicago.  We’re offering:

TRDV 400 Intro to Training (Chicago)

TRDV 433 Organization Change (Chicago)

TRDV 422 Adult Learning Theory (Robin)

TRDV 450 Learning Technologies (Robin)

You may complete 6 hours of credit in one semester with one evening’s commitment by taking our accelerated format.  Classes meet weekly for 3 hours face to face and students completed additional web based activities between sessions.

Evening with the Experts

The HPI and Instructional methods students will be hosting an "Evening with the Experts" on Thursday, December 4th from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.  Judith Hale and three other panelists will share their expertise in training and HPI with our students.  Many thanks to Michelle Filicicchia for organizing this event!
